Class 5 mathematics is the base of mathematics for higher sums related problems. Class 5 mathematics helps in the intelligence of the student to a huge extent. Practice and a huge number of IQ is required to score great marks in class 5 maths.
1) PRACTICE
Huge amount of practice is required for mathematics. A lot of practice on a regular basis is to be done. Time is to be scheduled for mathematics. A student must make a time table for scheduled chapters in mathematics.

3) DETERMINE THE AREAS OF IMPROVEMENT
The part where the student lacks confidence and thinks that the sum is not possible, all those areas must be improved by the student.
4) ANSWER IN STEPS
The math sums must be done step by step. No steps can be missed. Missing any step may lead to the wrong answer of the problems. Hence it is very necessary to go step by step. Some students think that skipping the steps of the sums may lead to the least time consumed by the students. Hence for this reason it is said that the answers must be done step wise.
5) KNOW ABOUT THE PREVIOUS YEAR’S QUESTIONS
The student must download the previous year’s questions. And must start practicing from those questions. As there’s always a chance of some questions coming common from previous years.
6) ATTEMPT THE FAMILIAR QUESTIONS
The questions which the student feels are easier must be solved by the student at first. Then the problem of getting panic attacks at the last sums reduces to a lot of levels.
7) ALL THE EXAMPLES MUST BE SOLVED
The mathematics book followed by the student, Whatever it may be, will consist of several examples. The examples are always given to a huge extent. If a student practises from those examples. It becomes easy for the student to grab the highest marks in MATHEMATICS of class 10.
8) ALL THE EXERCISES MUST BE SOLVED
After solving all the examples, all the exercises are to be solved. Again from whatever book it may be. The exercises problems give the unique idea of all the sums. Hence solving all the exercise problems helps the student in securing great marks in class 5 mathematics
9) CONCENTRATE AND DON’T PANIC
The student must not feel any panic attack in the examination Hall and must remain prepared for all types of sums. Concentration is required. Lack of concentration may lead to a bad effect on the students.
10) GO THROUGH THE CLASS NOTES, HOMEWORKS, ASSIGNMENTS, IMPORTANT CONCEPTS
The student must practice the Homework classwork and the assignments everyday. Practicing the formulas, homework and class assignments everyday helps the student to score good marks in class 5 mathematics syllabus.
11) PLAY MATHS GAMES
These days several online games have been established which include mathematics. Playing those math games helps the reader to concentrate and score good marks in mathematics exams.
12) REVIEW MATHS PROBLEMS EVERYDAY
Practice makes perfect, and math is no exception. Set a study schedule for the students and try to review the math problems for 15 to 20 minutes per day or more if a test is coming up. The skills of the student will build up over time with not much effort on your part
Make note cards. Write out important concepts and formulas on note cards so that you can easily refer to them while doing problems and use them for study guides before exams.
Study in a quiet place. Distractions, whether aural or visual, will detract both from your ability to pay attention and to retain information.
Study when you’re alert and rested. Don’t try to force yourself to study late at night or when you’re sleep-deprived.
13) TEACH THE CONCEPT OF MATHS TO OTHERS
Learning by teaching someone is a great way to solidify concepts. Invite a friend or family member over and explain to them what the student is doing and how the student is doing it. If the student gets stuck, review the notes or textbook again until the student can explain it clearly and concisely.
